Camille Lopez To Have Surgery
There is an upcoming France tour of South Africa that the major team is preparing for. However, Camille Lopez would be out of this team for health reasons. He has been part of the long domestic season since November and he is scheduled for a surgery after he takes part in the upcoming match this Sunday.

This would be the final match of Sunday’s Top 14. After that the team would be preparing to travel to South Africa. Camille Lopez, being flown half of Clermont Auvergne, would not be part of the team preparing for the tour.
The fact was revealed by Lopez ahead of the upcoming finals. He stated that the decision had been reached between Clermont and French Rugby Federation. The surgery that he is scheduled is for personal health reasons. The final that is coming up this Sunday would be the 31st game that he has participated this season.
He would be staying out of the three Test series that would be played against the Springboks. This will give him time to recover before the next season begins. He states that he has discussed the case with the medical staff that would overlook his surgery. They are confident that the time would be adequate for him to recover and be able to participate in the upcoming season.
France team has been on a high and Camille has been part of several successful games this season. He was a key player in the win; they had against Saracens in the European Rugby Champions trophy. This is one of the instances of his active participation in the national games. It is hoped that he will continue to be an asset for the team and his upcoming surgery will help him recover fully and in time for the next season.
